Green Waves bring home the State Championship from KHSAA Archery Finals
The Meade County High School Archery team headed to Lexington Tuesday with success on their mind at the 2026 Kentucky High School Archery State Finals, and by the time the all the arrows had flown and the dust had settled, a State Championship trophy would join the team on their bus ride back home that evening. Bomb squad called to Brandenburg Riverfront for suspicious package
According to the Brandenburg Police, they were dispatched to Riverfront Park on a suspicious item/package on the main boat ramp. The suspicious item was secured, and local authorities contacted LMPD and Federal partners for assistance.
