Bomb squad called to Brandenburg Riverfront for suspicious package
According to the Brandenburg Police, they were dispatched to Riverfront Park on a suspicious item/package on the main boat ramp. The suspicious item was secured, and local authorities contacted LMPD and Federal partners for assistance. First responders created a safe zone perimeter around the boat ramp until authorities arrived. The suspicious item was recovered by Federal authorities, and the area was deemed safe.
