Joseph Dale Lasley

Mr. Joseph Dale Lasley, age 85, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, KY. Dale was born on March 10, 1941, the son of Joseph C. and Mattie F. (Robertson) Lasley. He was a longtime member of Ekron Baptist Church and the Carpenters Union.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Ruth Lasley; and six siblings, Pearl Eagle, Delsie Hart, Corene Fowler, and Gordon, Elbert, and Delbert Lasley. He is survived by three children, Gail (Bruce) Ledford, Debbie Conley, and Joe (Shaunna) Lasley; seven grandchildren, Joseph Troy Dowers, Kelsie (Morgan) Ledford Payne, Cassie (Kenny) Hurst, Abby (Miles) Hart, Zack (Hannah) Ledford, and Courtney (Hailee) Lasley-Jones, and Seph Lasley; four great grandchildren, River Dowers, Henrie Ledford, Nora Hart, and Jasper Ledford; two bonus great grandchildren, Delanee Jones and Willow Ervin; five siblings, Doris Lawrence, Laverne Pyles, Roy Lasley, Barbara Blankenship, and Mary Rose Wathen; and his very special friend, Norma Boling.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at Ekron Baptist Church, with Dale’s son, Joe and Rev. Tom Curry officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at Hager Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Saturday, and at the church from 1:00 PM until the time of service on Sunday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Ekron Baptist Church.
