Robert Lyle Moon

Robert Moon, age 54, of Irvington, KY, passed away on November 1, 2026.

He was born on October 2, 1972, in Knoxville, Iowa, the son of Carol Anne (Mackey) Gillis, and the late Larry Moon. 

Robert was a long-time worker at Wal-Mart in Elizabethtown, KY. Alongside his work, he was a faithful member of Dry Valley Baptist Church. 

He is survived by his mother and his stepfather, Larry Gillis of Lodiburg, KY; sister and brother-in-law, Melissa and Jesse Godsey of Beaver Dam; his fiancé, Jessica Brown of Lodiburg; stepchildren, Autumn Brock, Cassie Phillips, and Travis Phillips; Nieces, Brittany Johnson and Emily Bratcher; nephews, John Brock, Jay Godsey, Thomas Godsey and Avery Godsey. Step-grandchildren, Nichole, Ramona, Christopher and Myah; great niece, Annabelle; great nephews, Adam, Dylan, and Kody.

Cremation has been chosen by the family and Alexander Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
