Mary Frances Hornback

Mary Frances (James) Hornback, 62, passed from this life after a hard-fought battle with cancer on October 28th, 2026.

She was born on December 31,1963, to Shirley Ann Garnes and Eddie Marshall James. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and two children, James Edward Hooks and Lonnie Owen Mossey.

She enjoyed playing bingo, exploring new places, and spending time with family and friends.

She leaves behind a loving family, including her children, Gerald “Jerry” (Kim) Mossey of Berea KY, Ann (Brian) Hall of Somerset KY, David (Tosha) Jones of Louisville KY, and Sherry (Charles “Bo”) Willson of Louisville KY; along with 12 grandchildren.

She leaves behind her loving partner Stanley Mitoraj and countless family members and friends who will treasure her memory.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at Hager Funeral Home, 633 Bland St, Brandenburg, KY from 4pm-8pm. The funeral will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at the same location, at 11am.

Burial will take place on Wednesday, November 5, 2026, at Highland Memory Gardens 279 Landis Ln, Mt Washington, KY at 2pm. Online condolences may be left at www.hagerfuneralhome.com.
