Developing: Breckinridge County Schools Delayed Due To "Dangerous Situation" In Irvington

Breckinridge County Schools will be operating on a 2-hour delay Wednesday, September 9th due to what is being described as a "dangerous situation" in the city limits of Irvington.

A post on the Breckinridge County Schools Facebook page reads:

Due to a dangerous situation within the city limits of Irvington, Breckinridge County Schools will be on a two hour delay today, Wednesday, September 9th.

The City of Irvington is in a Shelter in Place and the Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Office has asked everyone within the limits to stay inside. More information will be shared as it becomes available.
