Thelma Jean (Bennett) Basham

Mrs. Thelma Jean Basham, age 74, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, IN. Thelma was born on December 6, 1949, the daughter of Robert Rufus Bennett and Louise Barnes, who both preceded her in death.

Thelma is survived by her loving husband, Loys Basham, Jr.; her two sons, Bobby and Jimmy Eiler; her step daughter, Kelly Fulkerson; four grandchildren; several great grandchildren; her step father, Alton E. “Curly” Trent;  two brothers, Eddie and Timmy; and her sister, Judy.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM, on Monday, June 10, 2024, at the chapel of Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Dan Paddack officiating. Burial will follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
