Juanita Mae (McHolan) Burch

Juanita Mae McHolan Burch, age 87 of Hardinsburg, KY, passed away November 22, 2025, at her residence. She was born in Ammons, KY on August 13, 1938, daughter of the late William Isaac and Bessie Allan Ball McHolan. Juanita was a member of English Baptist Church and a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing, playing Rook and having a cup of coffee – often. She was quite the social butterfly and loved spending time with her family and friends. She missed her furry baby Buddy, but she loved and was very much loved by “Boo Boo”.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Bernard “Sonny” Burch, son Mike Shelman, great grandson Klay Michael Shelman Mattingly, siblings Lena Ann Sketo, Dorothy Pearl Ashley, Maxine Bennett and William McHolan, Jr.

Juanita is survived by 2 sons – Eddie Shelman (Beverly) of Union Star, KY and Jack Shelman (John) of Coxs Creek, KY

Special friend – Reva Peters of Payneville, KY

3 granddaughters – Kamman, Kari and Krisi Shelman

4 great grandsons – Kendall Mattingly, Dylan Goodman, Kolton Mills and Gage Shelman

Brother – Joe McHolan of Cabot, Arkansas

Sister – Joyce Elaine McHolan of Ekron, KY

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 10 AM with burial in the St. Theresa Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, 2:30 – 7 PM and Saturday, 8 – 10 AM. All times are central.
