Robert Thomas "Bobby" Arnold

 Mr. Robert T. “Bobby” Arnold, age 86, of Battletown, KY, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, IN.  Bobby was born on April 11, 1939, the son of Leon and Nina Payne Arnold.

     Bobby was a soft spoken, gentle man that loved his family and friends deeply.  He was a member of Wolf Creek Baptist Church and retired as a Foreman for Riverside Stone after 36 years of service.  He was also an avid Louisville Cardinal fan.   Bobby’s passion was his mules.  He loved working them and broke mules for people for many years.  Bobby also enjoyed pulling horses and mules at various county fairs over the years.

     Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Joyce; and two sisters, Betty Ann Allen, and Bonnie Jean Russellburg.  He is survived by his son, Wayne Arnold and his wife, Tonya; two granddaughters, Kyla (Trevor) Carter, and Michelle (Ben) Sipes; four great grandchildren, Lexie Mae, Nathaniel Steven, Nolan Robert, and Katherine Joyce; his sister, Mary Lee Hayes; three brothers, Jimmy, Larry, and Jody Arnold; a special niece and nephew, Charlotte Trent and Michael Arnold; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

     Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Terry Mullins officiating.  Burial will follow in New Highland Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, and from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Wednesday.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Wolf Creek Baptist Church.
