Mary Agnes (Kessinger) Frakes

Mrs. Mary Agnes (Kessinger) Frakes, age 90, of Hardinsburg, KY, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Hardinsburg Nursing and Rehab Center. Mrs. Frakes was born on September 1, 1934, the daughter of William and Edith Goins Kessinger. Agnes was a member of Ekron Full Gospel Church. Agnes will be remembered as being a faithful woman, who cherished her family and loved taking care of her cats and dogs.

Agnes was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Winfred Elsworth Frakes, Sr.; and two brothers, Leroy and David Kessinger. She is survived by her son, Winfred Frakes, Jr., and her two brothers, Windell L. Kessinger, and his wife, Judy and Earl W. Kessinger, and his wife, Susie.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 3, 2025, at the chapel of Hager Funeral Home with Rev. Eric Bolin officiating. Burial will follow in Ekron Full Gospel cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Sunday and from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Monday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hager Funeral Home to aid the family with expenses.
