Robert Wayne Davis

   Mr. Robert Wayne Davis, age 62, of Vine Grove, KY, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at the Norton Medical Pavilion Hosparus in-patient unit in Louisville.  Robert was born on December 19, 1963, the son of Robert Earl and Marilyn (Woods) Davis.

     Robert was a veteran of the United States Army, serving his country inOperation Desert Storm.  He was also a member of the VFW, Post #10281 in Vine Grove.           

     Robert is survived by two daughters, Jaclyn Davis-Simpson and Amanda Smith; seven grandchildren, Kaleena, Jarrod, Nevaeh, Kayelynn, Johnny, Niklaus, and Ryker; his great granddaughter, Ravyn; his mother, Marilyn Davis; and four siblings, Sherri, Terry, Margaret, and Mary.

     Graveside services, with military honors, will be held at 12:30 PM on Friday, June 5, 2026, at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central.  A celebration of Robert’s life will be held at the Vine Grove VFW on Saturday, June 13 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 PM.  Hager Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
