Linda Mae "Mammy" Eldridge

Mrs. Linda Mae “Mammy” Eldridge, age 66, of Battletown, KY, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, IN. Mrs. Eldridge was born on April 30, 1957, in Hardinsburg, KY. Linda was a member of the Tabernacle of Worship and of the Talking Yahweh group. She was an avid Kentucky Basketball fan and also enjoyed fishing.

Linda was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Pauline Hartley; her step fathers, Jodie Frans and Alfred Hartley; her mother-in-law, Neva Miller; and a brother, Robert Rice. She is survived by her loving husband, Dale Eldridge; her son, Robert “Bear” Eldridge, Jr.; her daughter, Nancy (Sammy) Eldridge; eight grandchildren, Lindsey Hardesty, MacKensey Hardesty, Krysta Beauchamp, Robert Eldridge, III., Garry “Bubba” Davis, Jenna Eldridge, Shelby Eldridge and Waylon Eldridge; two great grandchildren, Corey Layne Whelan and Remi Redmon; her twin sister, Brenda (Curtiss) Bennett; two brothers, James “Buster” Kline and Dale Frans; her sister, Kathy (Troy) Carden; her God sister, Debbie Paulley; and her sisters in Christ, Betty Ross and Pam Sitzes.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 3, 2024, at the chapel of Hager Funeral Home with Sister Lida Bain officiating. Burial will follow in Parr Frans Cemetery in Battletown, KY. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 12:00 PM until 7:00 PM and on Friday from 9:00 AM until the time of service.
