Kentucky State Police arrest Meade County man on domestic violence charges

According to Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post, Donald R. Brown, age 48, of Vine Grove was arrested in connection with a domestic violence incident that occurred in Meade County.
On Saturday, February 7, at approximately 12:06 a.m., KSP Post 4 received a report of domestic violence from a woman, who was located at a Dollar General in Meade County. She reported that she had been strangled during an altercation and fell from a vehicle, striking her head.
Following the incident, Brown fled the scene and returned to his residence on Jennings Knob Road in Meade County. Troopers responded to the residence, but Brown refused to exit. A search warrant and arrest warrant were subsequently obtained.
The Kentucky State Police Special Response Team responded and executed a search warrant at the residence. Brown was taken into custody without incident at approximately 7:30 a.m.
Brown was charged with:
Strangulation, 1st Degree (Domestic Violence)
Assault, 4th Degree (Domestic Violence) – Minor Injury
Trooper Sam Bogner is continuing the investigation.
All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
