Kathy Jo (Combest) Vibbert

Mrs. Kathy Jo Vibbert, age 55, of Vine Grove, KY, passed away on Friday, March 28, 2025, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, KY.  Kathy was born on July 14, 1969, the daughter of Gerald and Catherine Lewis Combest.

Kathy loved being outdoors.  She was a gardener who loved to plant flowers.  Her only trouble was keeping her husband from mowing them all down.  She also enjoyed playing the lottery and scratching off her tickets.

Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Combest; and her loving husband, Darrell Vibbert.  She is survived by three sons, Michael Thomas (Jennifer) Vibbert, Timothy Dale (Kara) Combest, and Christopher Brandon (Chelsey) Vibbert; five grandchildren, Garrett, Christine, Gracie, Jaxson, and David; her mother, Catherine Combest; two sisters, Lisa and Karen Combest; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A celebration of Kathy’s life will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, April 4, 2025, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until the time of service on Friday.
