Christopher Lee "Chris" Welch

 Mr. Christopher Lee “Chris” Welch, age 50, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026.  Chris was born on December 16, 1975, the son of Teresa Welch. 

     Chris loved and adored his kids, and his 6 German shepherds.  He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish, hunt, and work on cars (NOT).  He also was a fanatic for his University of Louisville Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys.

     Chris was preceded in death by his Granny, Elsie Grace Welch.  He is survived by his wife, Cortney Welch; five children, Katie (Levi) Beyl, Ryan (Max Senn) Welch, Hunter, Jake, and Carly Logsdon; his mother, Teresa Ferguson; two sisters, Jamie (J.I.) Mills, and Monica Joiner; his brother, Davy (Marissa) Ferguson; and several nieces and nephews.

     A celebration of Chris’s life will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, March 6, 2026, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home with Deacon Greg Beavin officiating.  Cremation will follow.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Friday.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the funeral home to aid the family with expenses.
