Mark Steven Ray

Mark Ray, of Vine Grove, Kentucky, passed away on July 10, 2026, at the age of 67.

Born on February 21, 1959, Mark spent much of his life in the Vine Grove community. He worked as a lineman for many years and was known for his love of animals and the special bond he shared with his pets. He found joy in the simple things in life and will be remembered by those who knew him for the memories they shared together.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Norman Ray and Helen (Skeeters) Ray.

He is survived by his daughter, Julia (Takyan) Sisoumankhara of Radcliff, Kentucky; his grandsons, Joel McAllister and Kyuss Sisoumankhara; his sister, Cindy (Tim) Cowley of Rineyville, Kentucky; and his brother, Terry Ray of Vine Grove, Kentucky. He also leaves behind extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Though he is no longer with us, Mark’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. His family is grateful for the support, prayers, and kindness shown during this difficult time.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 22, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at Chism Family Funeral Home in Vine Grove, KY.
