Judy (Pappas) Gulish

Ms. Judy Gulish, age 76, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.  Judy was born on October 23, 1948, the daughter of Harry Pappas and Henrietta Phelps Spencer.

     Judy had a servants’ heart and loved to be around people.  She was a longtime employee in the food service industry eventually retiring from Dairy Queen in Brandenburg.  She also loved to sing Karaoke with her friends and          family.

     Judy was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Regena Holden; and two brothers, Rudy and Steven “Pee Wee” Pappas.  She is survived by her fiancé, Bobby Jones; two children, Tricia (Joe) Clegg, and Jason (Shannon) Holden; four grandchildren, Mike Raley, Karen Holden, Jace Holden, and Paisley Holden; 6 great grandchildren; and two brothers, Ellis (Debbie) Pappas, and Donnie (Wanda) Pappas; and several nieces, nephews, and her many friends.

     Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Judy’s brother, Ellis officiating.  Burial will follow in Buck Grove Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, and from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Thursday.
