Judy Kay Cundiff Baker, age 67, of Irvington, KY, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at Baptist Health Hardin.
She was born on September 18, 1956, in Hardinsburg, KY, daughter of the late Samuel Kirby Cundiff and Catherine B. Compton Harper. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Kirby Cundiff.
Judy was a homemaker and prided herself on the warm, inviting environment that she created. She never met a stranger and had a massive heart. No matter who you were or where you came from, she welcomed you with open arms and a huge smile. Judy was a talented cook, enjoyed fishing and working in the yard, and loved her family beyond words. Her grandkids held her in the palm of their hands. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, and will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her loving husband, Walter Lee Baker of Irvington, KY; daughter, Selina (Jeff) Flood of Irvington; sister, Kim (Brett) Elder of Hawesville, KY; brothers, Sammy Cundiff of Irvington, and Delmer (Jean) Cundiff of Corydon, IN; grandchildren, Paige (William) Stallings, Payton (Ally) Hobby, and Jaxon Flood; and great-grandchildren, Harper, Layla, and Lincoln.
Visitation will be held at the Alexander Funeral Home (509 Spring Street, Irvington, KY 40146) on Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 11-8:00 P.M. EDT and will continue Sunday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, June 16, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. EDT with Bro. David Buckham officiating. Burial will follow in the Cundiff-Anderson Cemetery.
