Mr. Joseph Michael “Mike” Hardesty, age 70, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, KY. Mike was born November 22, 1953, the son of Joseph Russell and Mary Catherine Hardesty.
Mike had many interests and hobbies such as hunting, fishing, and trucks. The one he enjoyed the most, however, was his job as a truck driver. He loved seeing the country behind the wheel of his truck.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Barbara Hardesty; and his brother, Paul Hardesty. He is survived by two brothers, Leo Hardesty and Larry Hardesty; his granddaughter, Autumn Hager; and his special friend, Martha.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home with Deacon Mike Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Jolly Cemetery in Sample, KY. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, and from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Tuesday.
