Harlan Forrest Berry, age 81, of Muldraugh, KY, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at his residence.

He was born on August 20, 1944, in Meade County, KY, son of the late Roy Eugene Berry and Wanda Rose Ritchie Berry. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Eugene Berry.

Forrest was a proud US Navy veteran, where he served as a Radarman on an aircraft carrier. He was a member of the Muldraugh Lions Club and attended the Muldraugh Baptist Church. He enjoyed working with his hands, and he shared his talents through his carpentry skills. Forrest loved the Lord and showed that in the way he loved others. He handed out Bibles to people in Africa, volunteered with Mission Hope, and truly showed others what it meant to walk with Christ. He gave the best hugs and had a warm smile that lit up a room. Forrest loved his family and was so proud of them, especially his grandchildren. He was a devoted husband, father, Papaw, brother, and friend to many, and will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to know him.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Sharon Berry; children, Aaron Tyler Berry and Duane Harlan Berry; brother, Jerry Berry; 2 grandchildren that he loved fiercely; and a community that adored him.
