David Andrew Fuqua

Mr. David Andrew Fuqua, age 63, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025.  David was born on July 17, 1961, the son of Dale Lee Fuqua and Sue Virginia Lamkin.  He was a truck driver for 20+ years and just loved being on the open road.

David was preceded in death by his daughter, Amanda Matthews; his mother, Sue Gordon; and his brother, Donald “Buddy” Fuqua.  He is survived by two children, James Fuqua and his wife, Courtney; and Sammy Humphrey; 11 grandchildren, Adrian, Jasmine, Summer, Jayden, Jayah, Aliyah, Miyah, Ava, Donovan, Jasmyn, and Tyreke; two great grandchildren, Willow and Jettson; and his brother, Daniel Fuqua and his wife, Michelle.

In honoring David’s wishes, the family has chosen cremation with no public services to be held.  Hager Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
