Cynthia Parks Glin

Cynthia Parks Glin, age 62, of Irvington, KY passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2026. 

She was born on November 13, 1963, in Elizabethtown, KY, daughter of Sandra S. Parks and the late Lloyd K. Parks. 

Cynthia was a recruiter for Army ROTC for 36 years. She had an amazing work ethic and enjoyed what she did. In 2016 she received a liver transplant. She was a cheerleader in high school for Breckinridge County. Cynthia was a lover of holidays, mainly Christmas. She enjoyed being able to give gifts and be around her family. Anytime Cynthia was able to get her family together, it made her happy. She loved cats, flowers, dancing, talking, singing, and vacationing. Overall she just liked having fun. Cynthia was a proud mom, wife, and memaw. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Frank Glin; sons, Matthew Lloyd Glin, Miles Anthony (Shelby Olivia Hanson) Glin, and Mason Glin; grandson, Beckett Knox Glin; sister, Sharon (Steven) Carter; brothers, Gregory (Kelly) Parks and Michael (Kendy) Parks. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at the Alexander Funeral Home in Irvington from 1-8:00 P.M. EST and after 9:00 A.M. EST on Friday, June 5, 2026.

Funeral Services will be held at the Alexander Funeral Home on Friday, June 5, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. EST. with Rev. Nadine Mitchell officiating.  Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
