Charlie Orange, 80, of Corydon, Indiana, died Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at his home near Corydon. He was born June 13, 1946. He was retired from the Ford Motor Company Kentuckiana Truck Plant in Louisville, Kentucky, was a member of the Crandall Masonic Lodge #591 F&AM and the V.F.W. Post 2950 in Corydon, was a U.S. Navy veteran, and loved fishing and dancing.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his first wife, Barbara Jean Brown Orange.
Survivors include his wife, Mary E. Powell Orange; his son, Donald Wiseman (Victoria); his daughter, Angela M. Stroud (Shawn); his step-daughter, Angela Decker (Max); his grandchildren, Courtney Wiseman, Olivia Wiseman, Bentley Wiseman, Wesley Stroud, Morgan Stroud, Hunter Miller, C.J. Decker, and Icelynn Decker; and his great grandchildren, Jaydon Filkins, Jaxton Lee Eason, and Rhyder Decker.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Chaplain Joshua Spencer will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
There will be Masonic Rites at 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Donald Wiseman, Shawn Stroud, Wesley Stroud, Bentley Wiseman, Wendell Smith, and Mike Allen. Honorary pallbearers will be Hunter Miller and Kerry Chumley.
