Ann Fontaine

Ann Smith Fontaine, 89, passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at Fellowship Home at Cordelia Manor in Cordele, Ga. Graveside memorial services will be Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023 at 2 pm in Brandenburg, Kentucky.

Ann was born in Ashland, Kentucky to the late Roy Gilbert Smith and the late Janice Harned Smith. She is also preceded in death by her husband: Eugene Hardin Fontaine and by a grandson: Cameron Lee Fontaine. Mrs. Fontaine served faithfully as a member of Fernadina United Methodist Church. Ann was a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and also gave her time to the Children’s International Summer Villages. She had an artistic side and was a gifted painter. Mrs. Fontaine spent her working years as a professional photographer.

She is lovingly rememberd by her sons: Lee. H Fontaine and his wife Melanie of Cordele, C. Lamar Fontaine and his wife Arleen of Jacksonville, Florida and Peter Q. Fontaine of Fernadina Beach, Florida; and her grandchildren: Ryan Fontaine, Bradford Howick, Stephanie Howick, Luke Fontaine, Ava Fontaine
