Mr. William “Troy” Jones, age 64, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family and friends following a long fought battle with cancer. He was born on July 13, 1961, in Louisville, KY to Harry Elmer Jones and Linda Faye (Padgett) Jones.
Troy was an employee of Allied Ready Mix for 22 years where he served as union steward for many of those years. He was also an over-the-road truck driver for 15+ years. Troy was passionate about driving whether it be semis, cars, or motorcycles.
Troy was a member of Kentucky Wheels Motorcycle Group for 28 years. During that time, he served as road captain, vice president, and was president for many years. He was passionate about the members in his group. He considered them family and loved all the adventures he had with all of them.
Troy was also an avid hunter and fisherman and loved camping with his family. His greatest joy, however, was his grandbabies.
Troy was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Todd “Peanut” Jones; his father, Harry Elmer Jones; and his father-in-law, Robert “Bob” Reichmuth. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Darla Jean (Reichmuth) Jones; two sons, Jason Bradley Jones, and William “Jarrett” Jones; six grandchildren, Alisha (Hunter) Jones, Aimee Jones, Destiny Jones, Karlee Jones, Ella Jones, and Ivan Jones; a bonus granddaughter, Natalyn Roth; one great grandson, Hunter “Lane” Warren; his mother, Linda Faye Jones; his brother, Todd Edward (Tami) Jones; his mother-in-law, Barbara Reichmuth; his brother-in-law, Joseph (Tammy) Reichmuth; several nieces and nephews; and his lifelong friend and partner in crime, Steve Wayne.
Funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM on Monday, March 9, 2026, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Troy’s motorcycle club brothers officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Monday. Honorary Pallbearers will be Steve Wayne, Ricky Lovingood, Joe Harper, Lee Vincent, Howard “Snoopy” Youart, and Jackie Brown. Pallbearers are Keith Wiley, Kevin Wiley, David Dean Richardson, Joey Honey, Davey Carrier, and Brent Carrier.
