Wanda Louise (Mercer) Eiler

Wanda Eiler, formerly of Brandenburg, KY and recently living in Dickinson, TX, died on July 29, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was born August 27, 1928 to the late Clay and Mamie Mercer of West Point, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Leo Eiler; son John Steven Eiler; brothers Raymond Mercer, Carl (Dig) Mercer, Lloyd Mercer and Clay (Junie) Mercer, Jr.; sisters Lorene Mingus, and Cleopatra (Patie) Smith; and 2 grandchildren Lisa Eiler and Craig Eiler.
She is survived by four children, Richard Eiler, Cindy Loosemore (husband Ed), Charles Eiler (wife Alicia), and Kimberly McDonald (husband Keith), eight grandchildren–Robert Eiler, Jimmy Eiler, Britni Stickle, Chase Eiler, Jacob Eiler, Charles Eiler, Brianne Wilburn and Trevor Covington; and several great-and great-great-grandchildren.
Wanda lived in the Rock Haven area most of her life and was a member of Rock Haven Community Baptist Church for over 30 years before moving to Texas in 2002 and joining Arcadia First Baptist Church. She served the Lord faithfully as a Christian, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
A memorial service will be held at Rock Haven Community Baptist Church at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 9, 2025, with Rev. William “Happy” Chandler officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Rock Haven Community Baptist Church.
