Tracy Maran Hayes

Mr. Tracy Maran Hayes, age 58, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Monday, May 5, 2025, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY.  Tracy was born on March 10, 1967, the son of Adrian and Mayron (Embry) Hayes.

      Tracy had an adventurous soul and could always find a good time.  He was an “Old school” weightlifter who loved going to the gym and making those steel plates come alive.  Tracy loved dogs and treated them like his own children.  He was also an avid Elvis fanatic.

       Tracy was preceded in death by a brother, Maran Hayes.  He is survived by his loving wife, Rachel Hayes; five children, Christopher (Marissa) Hayes, Kayla Hayes (Sean) Sayenga, Justin (Maddie) Oller, Jonathan (Allie) Oller, and Jacob Oller; 12 grandchildren, Colton and Aliyah Hayes, Jaelyn, Brailey, Emberly and Hunter, Damian and Donovan Sayenga, Jackson and Russell Oller, Thomas Oller and Dakota; his parents, Adrian and Mayron Hayes; four sisters, Cheryl (Darrell) Burress, Tina (Chuck) Rhudy, Penny (Ted) Dennis, and Robyn (Mike) Embry; and several nieces and nephews.

      Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon EDT on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Tom Dillard officiating.  Burial will follow at 3:00 PM EDT at the Welch’s Creek Cemetery in Butler County.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, and from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Meade County Animal Shelter, 526 Hillcrest Drive, Brandenburg, KY  40108.
