Terry Lee Carmon, 66, of Brandenburg, KY passed away Monday, February 26, 2024, at the University of Louisville Hospital. Terry was born on Monday, June 17, 1957, in Whiting, Indiana to the late James Andrew & Mary Virginia Wheeler Carmon.
Terry grew up in Meade County, Kentucky having went to Ekron Elementary, and was a proud alumnus of Meade County High School. He was known for his musical talents, playing drums in the school band and his passion for music continued throughout his life.
After graduating, Terry carried his work ethic and commitment into his career. He was a respected member of the Heat & Frost Insulators Union Local 51, where he worked until his retirement.
Terry was a devoted member of Rock Haven Baptist Church, serving as a deacon and bringing his love for music to the congregation by playing the drums. Terry was also martial artist, achieving the rank of 1st-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do but greatest love was his family.
Mr. Carmon was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Daniel Carmon, his parents, and his seven siblings, Jimmy, June, Conrad, Billy, Kenny, Roxanne, and Gina.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Tammy Carmon; two sons, Jacob Carmon (Ashley), Â Eric Carmon; twelve grandchildren: Cody, Kinley, Drew, Izzy, Eric II, Allie, Cooper, Casen, Sophia, Leah, Piper, Harper; and a host of extended family & many fiends.
Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 4:00 PM, Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Rock Haven Baptist Church, 4444 Old Mill Road (Hwy 1638), Brandenburg, KY.
Funeral services for Mr. Carmon will be held at 4:00 PM, Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Rock Haven Baptist Church, 4444 Old Mill Road (Hwy 1638), Brandenburg, KY with Brother Happy Chandler officiating. Cremation will follow the service.
