Miss Starla Godard, age 18, of Payneville, KY, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2023, at University of Louisville Hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  Starla worked as a cook at Clark’s Tavern and had attended Male and Valley High Schools.

She is survived by her mother and step father, Lois Watson and Matthew Carroll; her brother, Peyton Carroll; a step sister, Jenna Carroll; a step brother, Travis Carroll; her grandparents, Millie Masden and Paul and Carol Carroll; a special friend, Tyler Price; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.


A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at Clark’s Tavern with Rev. Terry Mullins officiating.  An additional memorial service will be held on December 30, 2023, at Ashby Lane Baptist Church, 6617 Ashby Lane Louisville, KY 40272. The time of this service is pending. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hager Funeral Home.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses. Starla Godard Obituary
