Robby Clay Norton

Robby Clay Norton, age 66, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2026, in Harned, KY. 

He was born on July 3, 1960, in Hardinsburg, KY, son of Edward Clay Norton and the late Irmgard Ruppert. Along with his mother, he is preceded by his sister, Judy Seelye; brother, Larry Norton; and grandson, Jacob Gardner.

Robby was a retired farmer; he was a member of the Breck County Cattleman’s Club. Robby was a great storyteller; he made them so life-like and entertaining.  Most of all he dearly loved his dad, daughter, favorite son-in-law, grandson, and his best canine friend, Jessie.

Robby is survived by his father, Edward Clay (Sylvia) Norton; daughter, Amanda (Jeremy) Gardner of Irvington, Ky and grandson, Matthew Gardner; his sisters, Jenny (Charlie) Smith of Webster, KY, Mary Kay Morgan of Hardinsburg, KY, Peggy (Paul) O’Reilly of Cloverport, KY; several great nieces and nephews; three great-great nieces and nephews, and his special friends, Taylor Hobbs and Eddie Kennedy

Visitation will be held at the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 3:00 P.M. EDT. to 8:00 P.M. EDT. 

Funeral Services will be held at the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home Friday, August 21, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. EDT. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
