Pastor Steven Alan Arnold

Pastor Steven Alan Arnold, 63, of Corydon, Indiana, died Monday, November 3, 2025, at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.  He was born April 12, 1962 in Corydon.  He was the pastor of Alpha and Omega Full Gospel Church near New Salisbury, Indiana and formerly at First Born Church in Corydon, was the manager for 17 years of Dillman-Green Funeral Home in Marengo, Indiana and Denbo Funeral Home near English, Indiana, was the Crawford County Coroner for 8 years, for the last 10 years was involved with helping autistic adults and children lastly with Help at Home in New Albany, Indiana, was a member of the NRA and the Crawford County Lions Club, was on the Hoosier Uplands Board, and was frequently involved with gospel radio recordings.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Noel and Buretta Ripperdan and George Arnold; and his son, David Alan Arnold.

 

Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Brenda A. Truax Arnold; his son, Noel Robert Arnold (Emily); his brothers, Gary L. Ripperdan (Paula) and Jeffrey D. Arnold (April); his grandchildren, Ethan, Kianna, Kiara, Jordan and Madelyn; and many great grandchildren..

 

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2025, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery near Corydon.

 

Visitation will be from 1:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 9:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

 

Pallbearers will be Marty Wiseman, Allen Truax, Bill Locatch, Kyle Reauch, Leonard Lawrence and Mark Kirby.
