Myra Geneva (Harshfield) Hayes

Mrs. Myra G. Hayes, age 79, of Battletown, KY, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY.  Myra was born January 14, 1945, the daughter of Earl and Mary Mullens Harshfield.  She attended Walnut Grove Baptist Church and was an avid Bingo player.

Myra was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jim Hayes; her son, Chad Hayes; her special niece, Puddy; three brothers; and two sisters.  She is survived by two children, Mary Reichmuth and her husband, Rob, and George Hayes and his wife, Billie; three

grandchildren, Tyra and Tyler Reichmuth, and Austin Hayes and his wife, Jewely; two great grandchildren, Emma and Dawson Michael Hayes; three daughters by love, Lisa Ashmore, Rhonda Kinnison, Jennifer Blakely and their families; two special nephews, Chuck and Ed Childers and their families; and two special nieces, Sport and Sissy and their families.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, February 9, 2024, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home.  Cremation will follow the service.  Visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon until the time of service on Friday.
