Mr. Joseph L. “Larry” Bradley, age 75, of Flaherty, KY, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, KY. Larry was born on February 6, 1949, the son of George Leo and Mary Catherine (Stinson) Bradley.
Larry was a proud veteran serving his country in the United States Army. He was a longtime butcher at Jones’ IGA, Austins’ IGA and Kroger. Larry was an avid golfer and fisherman always taking his grandkids with him every chance he got. He loved his family BIG and always put them first no matter what. Larry’s final gift was the gift of life through organ donation.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; his granddaughter, Aerial Rusk; his brother, Carmon Bradley; and two sisters, Brenda Wine and Sharon Bradley. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Frannie Bradley; two daughters, Tina (Nik) Nikolao, and Christie (Chuck) Bradley; four grandchildren, Ashley, Maddie, Kobe, and Allie; his great grandson, Jojo; three sisters, Charlene Lawson, Georgina (Bart) Powers, and Sandy Button; and three brothers, Randall (Linda) Bradley, Terry (Gena) Bradley, and Gary Bradley.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 9, 2024, at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, with Father Thomason Jose officiating. Military honors will take place outside of the church immediately following mass. A private family burial will be held. Visitation will be held at Hager Funeral Home in Brandenburg from 12:00 Noon until 8:00 PM on Sunday, and from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM on Monday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates.
