Michael Raymond Chandler

Mr. Michael Raymond Chandler, age 65, of Meade County, KY, passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at his residence.  Michael was born on July 24, 1959.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman, also enjoying woodworking, but especially making and collecting arrowheads.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert Galla and Sophia Ann Reesor; his wife, Beverly Kay (Arnold) Chandler; two brothers, Darrell Galla and Dennis Reesor; and his granddaughter, Paige Nicole.  He is survived by three daughters, Brandy (Shannon) Hunter, Carrie (Alan Howard “Bubby”) Manska, and Mandy (Miranda) Chandler; five grandchildren, Morgan and Peyton Wemes, Devon and Haley Manska, and Danielle Thompson; six great grandchildren, Amelia, Annabelle, Bowman, Ava, Cora Ann, and Lily; four siblings, Dawn (Jerry) Lamb, Linda Chandler, Renee (Steve) Seale, and Shaun Reesor; two lifelong friends who were more like brothers, Roland Duke, and Norman “Skip” Smith; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Michael’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Blue River Island Baptist Church, with Bonnie Duke officiating.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Heart Association.
