Merrill Willard Deemer

 Mr. Merrill Willard Deemer, age 86, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2025.  He was born on August 8, 1938, the son of Willard and Mildred (Ruth) Deemer.  Mr. Deemer retired from the United States Army, and then furthered his career working for Civil Service at Fort Knox.

     Mr. Deemer was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Kyle Martin Deemer; and his sister, Alberta Deemer.  He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Pearl Deemer; his daughter, Tanya May Curl, and her husband, Andy; his nephew, Jeff Getts; and his sister, Ruth Ann Shook.

     Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 25, 2025, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Friday.
