Matthew Brian Wilkins, 36, of Hartford, KY and formerly of Vine Grove, KY passed away Friday, February 9, 2024 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Matthew attended Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in Hartford, KY and he was active in the community, always helped those in need.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy “Buddy” & Emma Wilkins, and Earl Johnston.

Mr. Wilkins is survived by his loving wife, Kasey Wilkins; his parents, Roy Wilkins (Susan), Anna Basham; nine children, Leland Sandlin, Shauntay Sandlin, Sherman Kimberly, Rollan Kimberly, Lucas Wilkins, Amelia Rowe, Brantley Wilkins, Brenna Wilkins, Jeffrey Wilkins; one grandchild, Ezaryah; siblings, Kimberly Whitehead (Tyler), Ben Wilkins, James Conley (Brandy), Summer Basham.

Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM, Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.

Funeral services for Mr. Wilkins will be held at 5:00 PM, Saturday, February 17, 2024 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY. Cremation will follow the service.
