Lisa Elderidge

Lisa Darlene Howell Elderidge, age 61, of Irvington, KY, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, KY.

She was born on December 13, 1962, in Louisville, KY, daughter of the late Ronald “Ronnie” Howell and Mary Ann Hardin Howell.

Lisa loved life. She worked at the gas stations in town for some time, and enjoyed the casino, playing games, and taking trips to Florida. She was very personable and would give you the shirt off her back, even if it was the only thing she had left. Lisa gave everything she had to the people she cared about and would do anything for anybody. She truly had a servant’s heart. She spent the last 6 years as a dedicated caregiver to her parents, filling every moment with love, gentleness, and kindness. She adored her friends and family, and she deeply cherished every relationship she had. Lisa was a devoted mom, mawmaw, sister, aunt, and friend, and will be dearly missed by all who were lucky enough to know and love her.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff Elderidge; children, Beth (Erik) Moore of West Point, KY, and Byron (Donna) Dunn of Harned, KY; step-children, Elizabeth (Kenneth) Wayne and Josh Elderidge; siblings, Todd (Kayla) Howell and Traci (Dale) Brauner; niece and nephew, Meghan Howell and Nick (Leslie) Brauner; grandchildren, Morgan, Molly, Kayden, Greyson, and Kinley; and numerous friends.

Visitation will be held at the Alexander Funeral Home on Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 11-8:00 P.M. EST and Sunday after 9:00 A.M. EST.

Funeral Services will be held from the chapel of the funeral home on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. EST with Brother Carlie Ross officiating.  Burial will follow in the Bethel Cemetery, Irvington, KY.
