Linda Lou Denner

Linda Lou Denner, age 75, of Irvington, KY passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at St. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville. 

She was born June 13, 1948, to the late Wayne Allen Roberts and Lillian Agnes Bell Roberts. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Edward Denner, Jr.

Linda loved her boys and grandkids immensely. She was a lifelong fan of Elvis. She had a love for Halloween year-round and enjoyed dressing up as a witch for community haunted houses. The remainder of her time was spent sewing and crocheting. Linda’s fun personality made her a Mamaw to everyone she met. 

She is survived by her sons, Wayne (Stephanie) Denner, John (Karen) Denner, Jamie (Mary Jane) Denner all of Irvington and Chris (Ann) Denner of Brandenburg; brother, John Wayne (Vicki) Roberts; beloved grandkids, Alix, Billy (Lauren), Cole, Zane, Chloe, Trevor, Tara, Thomas, Blaze (Autumn), Kyle, Kayla (Brandon), Jon, Alex; and great-grandkids, Bryson, Lennon, and Averi.

A visitation will be held at Alexander Funeral Home in Irvington on Sunday, May 5, 2024, from 4:00-8:00 P.M. EDT and Monday, after 9:00A.M. EDT.

Funeral services will be held at Alexander Funeral Home on Monday, May 6, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. EDT with Pastor David Buckham officiating. A burial will follow in Dry Valley Cemetery, Mystic, KY.
