Leaiseigoa Kelemete Nikolao

Mr. Leaiseigoa Kelemete “Nik” Nikolao, age 56, of Flaherty, KY, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at his residence. Nik was born on January 23, 1970, in America Samoa, the son of Ta’Afulisia and Susitina Savelio Nikolao.

Nik was a big man with a big heart, especially for his family. He was a supervisor with Ford Motor Company, but when he was not at work, you could probably find him at a ball park, sitting on a five gallon bucket, coaching his kids and offering his advice, whether they wanted it or not. Nik also just loved the peace and quiet of spending time with his beloved dogs.

Nik was preceded in death by his father; and his brother, Teotilo Nikolao. He is survived by his wife, Tina Bradley Nikolao; two children, Ashley Nikolao and Kobe (Lyndsey) Nikolao; his mother, Susitina; his brother, John (Gina) Nikolao; three sisters, Anita and AkeNese Nikolao, and Sanjohlea Pula; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 7, 2026, at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, with Rev. Thomason Jose officiating. Military honors will follow mass. Visitation will be held at Hager Funeral Home on Thursday from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and on Friday from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the funeral home to aid the family with expenses.
