Larry Joe Roberts

Mr. Larry Joe Roberts, age 69, of Guston, KY, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024, at his residence.  Larry was born October 15, 1954, the son of Joe Edward and Della Kay (Chism) Roberts.  He was a very proud machinist and was employed by Hagmann Enterprises.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Ricky Roberts; his nephew, Jody Smith; his father and mother-in-law, Herb and Verna Biddle; his sister-in-law, Gaye Robertson; and his brother-in-law, Mike Biddle.  He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Susan Roberts; two children, Amanda Pertuis and her husband, Derek, and Larry Joe “Ralph” Roberts, II; his granddaughter, Maci Renee Pertuis; his brother, David Glenn Roberts; his sisters-in-law, Eva Jane (Harold Harris) Smith and Jonell Babb; his aunt, Kathy (Tom) Brandenburg; his uncle, Luther Powers; and numerous other great aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

 A celebration of Larry’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Valerie Goins officiating.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Meade County Angel Tree Ministry.
