Kimberly Mae Dowell

Mrs. Kimberly Mae Dowell, age 60, of Irvington, KY, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at her residence. Kim was born on January 3, 1966, the daughter of Franklin Dee Blevins and Nellie Marie (Smith) Linder.

Kim loved being outdoors. She enjoyed working in her flower garden and searching for arrowheads and mushrooms. She just loved being a part of nature.

Kim was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerry Dowell; and her brother, Frankie Blevins. She is survived by three sons, Justin Ty Decker, Jerry Lee Dowell (Chelsea Arnold), and Robert (Sarah) Dowell; nine grandchildren, Nataleigh Marie Bruner, Abigail Lynn and Addison Mae Decker, Maevis Rayne and Ellamae Rose Dowell, Makayla Faith Schooler, Alyssa Ann Thomas, and Memphis and Briar Terry; three great grandchildren; two brothers, Mike and Lane Blevins; two sisters, Barbara Little and Gail Wood; and her boyfriend, Steven Greenwell.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Eric Bolin officiating. Burial will follow in Ekron Full Gospel Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon until the time of service on Wednesday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the funeral home to aid the family with expenses.
