Kimberly Alexander

Kimberly Ann Alexander, age 53, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2026, in Louisville, KY. 

She was born on February 21, 1973, in Hardinsburg, KY, daughter of Elsie Mae Ditto and the late Eddie Eugene Young. 

Kimberly was a strong and powerful woman with a presence that could be felt wherever she went. Family was at the center of her life, and she loved deeply, fiercely, and with her whole heart. A devoted woman of faith and a true prayer warrior, she found strength in God and faithfully prayed for those she loved. She will be remembered for her big heart, unwavering faith, powerful spirit, and the incredible love she poured into her family. 

Kimberly is survived by her mother, Elsie Mae Ditto; children, Victoria Anderson, James (Amy) Young, Lovell Stewart, Rayshonda Stewart and Maxie (Sarah) Mike-Vang; sisters, Kim Stewart, Gale Payton, Pamela Cleaver, Rhonda Crockett, Lawanna Seals, Joyce Wynn, Dianna Newby, Edna Collier and Monisha Singleton; brothers, Larry Ditto, Alton Stewart, Bob Stewart, Nicholas Rowe, Andre Cleaver, Darious Miller, and John Young.  Grandchildren, Jaslyn, Melanie, De’Majae, James Jr., Londyn, Arianna, Angelo, Noriego, Santiago, Amair, Kayden, Jessaih, Isis, Deontre, Geshawn, Nehemiah, Elanni, Leonerd and one grandbaby on the way, Elsie.

She is proceeded in death by her husband, Paul David Alexander Jr.; and brother, Donminic Young. 

Cremation has been chosen by the family and Alexander Funeral Home has been entrusted with their arrangements.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, in the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home, beginning at 1:00P.M. EDT.
