John White Aebersold

ohn White Aebersold, age 60 of Brandenburg, KY passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, July 10, 2026, in Brandenburg, KY

He was born in Elizabethtown, KY on April 16, 1966, son of the late Theodore Lee “Buck” Aebersold and Phyllis Jean Jupin Aebersold.

John was a much wanted and much loved little brother. A graduate of Meade County High School with a special award for perfect attendance his entire school career!  John was a sweet hearted man who loved deeply, the best uncle and friend.  He worked at Bucks Furniture and Bargain Supply in Brandenburg, Abes Country Village, and owned Abes Storage Units. He was a lifelong member of New Brandenburg Southern Baptist Church, and loved to bowl and collect things.

He is survived by his sisters, Gaye Jean (Gary) Chapman and Carol (John) Whelan both of Brandenburg; nieces and nephews, Gabriel (Jennifer) Chapman, Gabrey Jean (Adam) Travis, Caressa (Matt) Wiese, Austin (Jessie) Chapman, Jeremy Chapman, Jayce Whelan, John Whelan, Jr., and Anthony Whelan; 7 great-nieces and nephews; and honorary pallbearers, nieces and nephews, Perry Curl, Greg Jupin, Greg Shoulders, and Scott Jupin.

Cremation has been chosen by the family, and Bruinton-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Graveside services will be held at the New Brandenburg Baptist Cemetery in Brandenburg (115 Baptist Church LN. Brandenburg, KY 40108) on Saturday, July 18, 2026, 11:00 A.M.
