Jimmy Ray Lingerfelt, age 82, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2026, in Louisville, KY.
He was born on August 20, 1943, in Louisville, son of the late Norman Webster and Eva Louise Lingerfelt.
Jimmy found great joy in the simple things in life, especially time spent outdoors and surrounded by those he loved. He had a deep appreciation for nature and the peacefulness of the country life. Above all, he treasured the time he spent with his grandchildren, and the memories they made together will forever hold a special place in the hearts of his family.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Lingerfelt; children, Timothy Lingerfelt, Steven (Carol) Lingerfelt, Keith Lingerfelt, Tonia (Joe) Schone, Patricia (Russell) Buchanan, Christa Bowen, Brian Bowen, Angela (Jacob) Greenwell, and Cassie Mitchell; among many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Judy Bell Lingerfelt; sister, Norma Coy; and brother, Edward Lingerfelt.
