Jewell "Judy" Mae Miller

Jewell Mae “Judy” Miller, age 82, of Irvington, KY passed away peacefully at home on July 2

2, 2025. 

She was born on June 1, 1943, in Lodiburg, KY. Daughter of the late Eda Mae Rose Smoot and Amon Baker Smoot. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Ruby Jane Miller, Clarence “Bud” Smoot, Woodrow Smoot, and an infant brother.

Judy was a homemaker; she dedicated her life to creating a warm and loving home for her family. She was a member of Lincoln Trail Church. Judy was a devoted babysitter with a passion for children. Her grandchildren were the light of her eye and most recently her great-grandson had taken center stage. 

She is survived by her children, Darnell Wheatley of Irvington; Richard Owen Miller of Webster, KY; 4 grandchildren including, Dustin (Hannah Spitzer) Wheatley and Levi Wheatley; 3 great-grandchildren, including Weston Wheatley; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Judy’s life will be announced at a later date.
