Dorothy Jeanette Ford

Dorothy “Jeanette” Ford, of Rineyville, KY, age 61, passed away at home, on September 22, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. 

She was born on July 21, 1965, in Hardinsburg, KY, daughter of the late Dorothy Catherine Pike Dunn, and Harold Vernon Dunn, Sr., along with her parents she is proceeded in death by her brother, Jeremy Dunn. 

Jeanette worked for Radial in Louisville, KY, for fifteen years, where she made many new friends. She was also a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, located in Elizabethtown, KY, where she was active in the church crochet ministry. Jeanette loved the Lord and showed her love for Christ often; but above all, she was a loving mom, mimi, sister, aunt and friend. 

She is survived by her brother, Harold “Buddy” (Cheri); sisters, Victoria (Allen), and Shanda (Brad); children, Jasmine (JT) Via, Tiffany (David) Davis; and grandchildren, Kyllie, Kaelyn, Jensen, and Journee.

Cremation has been chosen by the family and Alexander Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. 

A celebration of life will be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church (350 Mt Zion Rd, Elizabethtown, KY 42701) on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 10:00A.M. to 11:00A.M. EDT., with food to follow in the church basement.
