Donald Ray Morris Jr., age 56, of Battletown, KY, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024 at his home.
He was born on February 19, 1967 in Louisville, KY, son of the late Donald Ray Morris Sr. and Loretta Temple. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, David Lee Morris; sisters, Cheryl Morris and Terrie Shawver; and niece, Tina Spink.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Carol Morris; children, Karen Humphrey of Ekron, Donald Ray “Boo” Morris III of Brandenburg, and Kayla Leigh (James Drum) Morris of Rineyville; sister, Melissa (Robert Felts) Hardesty; nephews, Danny Spink, Jeremy Shawver, and Stephen Shawver ; niece, Nicole Shawver; great-nephew, Cody Spink; and grandchildren, Emma Morris, Robbie Pickerell, Karlee Smith, and Macey Richards-Morris.
Visitation will be held at the Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home on Thursday, February 15, 2024 from 4:00- 8:00 P.M. EST.
Funeral Services will be held from the chapel of the funeral home on Friday, February 16, 2024 at 12:00 P.M. EST with Bro. Bob Davis officiating. Burial will follow next to his son at a later date.
