Dianna Lynn (Cockerill) Davis

Mrs. Dianna Lynn (Cockerill) Davis, age 76, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at the Brandenburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  Lynn was born May 3, 1947, the daughter of William Oba and Jewell Valentine (Hertle) Cockerill.  She was a homemaker and loved taking care of her family and sewing.  Most importantly, she was a child of God that loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.                                          

Lynn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gene Davis; three brothers, William, Wayne, and Steven Cockerill; and her brother-in-law, David Howell.  She is survived by two children, Sherry Davis, Brandenburg, KY, and William Davis and his wife, Ann, Washington, IN; five grandchildren, Dennie (Janel) Davis, and Erica Stewart, both of Brandenburg, KY, Josh (Deidra) Sims, Joseph (Christa) Davis, Tyler (Bailey) Davis, all of Washington, IN; 13 great grandchildren, Katlynn, Devian, Bryson, Maddox, Karrien, Nahla, Romello, Andrea, Brooklynn, Keliegh, Noah, Brayden and Lainey; two brothers, Butch (Patti) Cockerill, J.D. (Kellie) Cockerill; her sister, Lisa Howell; three sisters-in-law, Mary Cockerill, Jeanne Cockerill and Sharon Hogan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Tony Golladay officiating.  Burial will follow in Ekron Full Gospel Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday.
