Cynthia Jo "Cindy" Bauer

Cynthia Jo “Cindy” Bauer, 68, of New Salisbury, Indiana, died Monday, July 1, 2024, at her home near New Salisbury.  She was born November 27, 1955 in Corydon, Indiana.  She was a self employed cosmetologist for 20 years, was a paralegal associate with The Law Office of John Stewart in La Grange, Kentucky for 20 years, was formerly employed with the Aquinas Center in Sellersburg, Indiana and as a dispatcher with Shaffer’s Towing, Recovery and Auto Repair in Corydon, was a life member of the Girls Scouts, was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Corydon, the ACTS Retreat team at St. Joseph, the Meade County Senior Citizens, Al-Anon at the Next Step in Corydon, and the V.F.W. Post 2950 Ladies Auxiliary in Corydon, and attended St. Michael Catholic Church in Bradford, Indiana.  Cindy loved playing her guitar and singing, cooking, and most of all, spending time with her family.

 

She was preceded in death by her father, Frederick Eugene Chinn, Sr..

 

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Larry J. Bauer; her mother, Wanda Catherine Troncin Chinn; her daughter, Mary Jo Fetz (John); her grandchildren, Kimberly Jo Swisher (Kevin), Rebecca Larel Harper Fetz, and John Allen Harper Fetz, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Liliana Baker and Letty Jo Swisher; her brothers, Mark, David, Sam, Jerry, Brian and Michael Chinn; her sister, Jennifer Bube; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.

 

Her funeral mass will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 6, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Corydon.  Father Aaron Pfaff will officiate.  Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Corydon.

 

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday, and from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.

 

There will be a rosary service at 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
