Crystal Gayle Newman Carpenter, age 38, of Cecilia, KY, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024, as the result of a tragic accident.
She was born on January 20, 1986, in Louisville, KY.
Crystal attended Breckinridge County High School and worked as a pharmacy technician on Fort Knox. She had a heart of gold and was a “helper of lost causes.” She truly knew what it meant to love others. No matter the situation you were in, she greeted you with kindness and compassion and would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. She was a loving daughter, a devoted mother, and a friend that you could count on for anything. She was filled with generosity, understanding, and love for everybody she met. Crystal was a beacon of light to so many people, and will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her children, Krystina Carpenter, Jazmine Carpenter, and Jaymee Rogers, all of Elizabethtown, KY; parents, Paul Eugene Newman and Lorraine King Newman; brothers, Charles (Gladis) Newman of Elizabethtown, Adrian Newman of Garfield, KY, and Joshua Newman of Garfield, KY; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held at the Alexander Funeral Home (509 Spring Street, Irvington, KY 40146) on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 1:00 P.M.-5:00 P.M. EDT.
Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 5:00 P.M. with Bro. Carlie Ross officiating. Cremation will follow.
